the floodwaters lower, the tower falls, the ground shatters, the sand shifts, the great soul of the earth rises through the cracks in the dust. the silken veils drape themselves upon the deserts, floating down from the sky. walls of stone emblazoned with golden symbols. the sun is rising over a new land.

This album is an ambient tour de force and my was favorite record to study to in college. Every time I hear it I'm transported to the cozy student coffeeshop watching snow spiral and pile. Good times, even better record. XANNY
